🔥A state of emergency has been declared in Sumatra and Kalimantan. These are areas where orangutans live and many of the orangutan rehabilitation centres are. To have to evacuate these centres will be an incredible challenge. We hope that the rain clouds will open up and help relieve this terrible situation. As always, we are sending our thoughts to the people that dedicate their lives to orangutan conservation and to the many fire fighters risking their lives on the ground.
